Hinderwell village

The village of Hinderwell is 9 miles north of Whitby between the Yorkshire Moors and North Yorkshire Coast.

Hinderwell is a small village with a wide range of shops, a post office/ general store, butchers, hairdressers, fish and chips, doctors surgery, tennis courts and garage, bistro, 2 pubs, both serve food and children are welcome.

Hinderwell is situated along the Middlesbrough to Whitby bus routes. There are buses every hour into Whitby and the surrounding villages. The bus stop is on the high street about 50m away.

The seaside village of Runswick Bay with its sandy beach is only a mile away; you can also join the Cleveland Way here and walk to Staithes and Sandsend.
